A.S. Bike Shop
The Associated Students Bike Shop is a student-funded repairs shop for all things bike-related. Their shop is run by a team of passionate students and staff who provide repairs and resources to get the UCSB community’s bicycles running smoothly. They are located at UCSB building 344, just North of the Bus Loop and adjacent to 4041 SAASB/ Visitor Center.
Bikemaps
Bikemaps.org is an initiative founded by UCSB’s own Dr. Trisalyn Nelson. Nelson and her team created BikeMaps.org to promote bike safety by allowing users to map their cycling experiences. With the choice to report a near miss, collision or fall, hazard, or theft, alongside any other details you want to provide, BikeMaps.org allows people to share their experience, contributing to overall knowledge (of areas of concern).
Used Bike Sales (CSO)
The Community Service Organization (CSO) hosts periodic used bike sales, typically in the first few weeks of each quarter. All bikes are sold on a first-come, first-serve basis. Bikes are sold as-is and many will need basic maintenance or simple repairs which can be obtained at the AS Bike Shop.
